
Whether its your first baby or your fourth, your body, mind and spirit go through so many changes in early motherhood.
This space is here for you to gently rebuild – with your baby by your side.
Through slow, intentional movement, you’ll be supported in reconnecting with your body, while being held in a calm and nurturing space alongside other mums.
There’s no pressure here — you’re always free to do whatever your baby needs, whether that’s feeding, settling, or simply taking a moment to pause.
Each session will include:
• Breath-led core & pelvic floor reconnection
• Functional strength & gentle mobility
• Nervous system support

FAQ
What do I need to bring?
Mats and props are provided at the studio, so all you need is your usual baby essentials. You might also like to bring a teething toy or something familiar for your baby to play with to help them feel even more comfortable in the space.
What age does my baby need to be to attend the class?
This class is ideal for babies from birth up to around 1 year old, with older babies absolutely welcome too. I’ll also have my own sweet almost 3-year-old with me 🤍 All ages are embraced — the space is relaxed, flexible, and designed to meet you and your baby exactly where you are.
What if my baby cries?
Please do not worry about disrupting the class and remember that you will be amongst parents going through a similar journey as you. At Awakind Yoga, we understand that babies have different needs and you will be encouraged to feed, comfort or change your baby as you need to.
How many weeks postpartum can birth mothers join?
Birth mothers are generally encouraged to wait until around 6 weeks postpartum and to receive clearance from their healthcare provider, as every body and birth experience is different. If you feel ready earlier, you’re always welcome to reach out — this class is gentle and supportive, and we can chat about what feels right for you 🤍
